Don't think you can even time 800 deaths over 8m kills perfectly enough to get exactly no profs

Welcome back, I bet that you are getting the buff but it isn't properly displaying. Mine appeared that way (I had 15 sword) and I got a notice on my first climb that I hit 1 and I was super confused. On the second climb though all the prof gain was there and I am fairly certain that I gained the effect even when it didn't display. I could be wrong though.

One thing to be mindful of is that deaths are much easier than in the past, at least I think so. I rarely died a decade ago but now I die frequently. I mash to leave but somehow I still end up dying and I don't have that weak of gear.

Paul is good about this stuff, i have never not got a pm back about an ls issue within 24 hours.
