I thought this was always a thing? All items I mute have the old items stats when I look at the ID

The item you see in the market history is a snapshot of the item the last time it sold.
Which might not be the current state of the item.
The item may have be muted, glyphed, cooked, suffed , had it's stack size changed, or no longer exist.
Sometimes old info is purged and you will see a message that item no longer exists but this has not happended in years afaik.
