It would benefit players like me who use ess but do not mute.

Yes muters invested tons of time into the skill and deserve to profit from it. Making it possible to mute that fast is not an option in my opinion.

It would be way, way, way to strong

speed up skilling in general when you only get 0-4 pts and i mean speed up like 100%

I’d rather muting be removed than this. Mutes make the mid level items worth very little compared to higher items

For example you can pick up a lvl 55 dagger with 135ish ee for about 2.5k fg. If you wanted a 150ish ee dagger it’s about 6-7k fg. 15 ee for almost triple the price? Seems crazy. I think it’s because people mute a lot of 100-130 ee items. I’m probably stupid though

Decrease time slightly needed to mute things below your level. Same goes for glyphing.

Many huge positive changes have been added to muting lately. I dont think muting needs much more. Taking 8 minites to mute an item under your rank is pretty ridiculous though.


Lets remember some of the positive murting changes in recent times:

Lower ranks are faster and more xp
Items under your minimum nos still xp i think when muring
Percent faster Muting events speed things up
Suffusencong now can upgrade essences
Essenses can be traded and insta roll


The amount of buffs there is nuts and need for sure. What youre asking is practically a full revert to the old system.

Last poteial qol changes for muting?:
Allow for essence stack splitting
Decrease time a bit on items below your current rank(same for glyphing)
Disconnects stop muting right where its at instead of losing item
Be able to drain 2 items at once maybe
Include an autohold button so u just have to click once back and forth between the two options until the mute is done
Increase the chance for items rolled to be higher magic levels more often.

Honestly, it's only getting more & more competitive on the MP for existing and upcoming transmuters--this would gimp those trying to progress their rank even further




I'd be for the bolded changes.
Essence splitting only makes sense considering they are tradeable now.
I disconnect so much less than I used to when transmuting, but it's pretty frustrating buying a 55 item for 10fg then d/c'ing seconds after attempting to break it down

There are already a lot of high lvl muters consistently clearing the MP unless there’s a big EP or TS event. Your suggestion would be good for me obviously, but I do think that it would crush the market for items at the lvls that are 1 clickable for the top muters.

I’ll support a benefit for just the highest lvl skiller of every skill though

Better suggestion: allow us to script a bot that does all the skilling for us
