While this is very true, there's a good bit of people who cant cast as warlocks much less as monks. I hate off casting on a monk personally because I don't have the mana gear below lvl 40 to help. But there's some people who make off casting look easy as pie lol.
depends on who else is in the climb. When there's 2 others dealing more damage than i am, then yes easy and i usually go full damage other than a very good level 20 dagger i'm basically using warlock gear.
The pain is when there's other offcasters running out of mana and refuse to fish/shrine at 70% or less exp (arguably 90% exp+ you can get away with, i usually have 100 mana fish for that
) or when you are the offcaster with the highest damage in a climb will usually mean you'll run out of mana regularly and need to use fish.
Any new offcasters whom don't have specialised gear should melee upto level 20 minimum whilst statting intel. Even with my specialised gear i deal more damage with ~100 fg of melee gear than i do with 1k worth of offcaster gear.
