Actually... what are your Settings for your actions while in catacombs?

Press "Escape" to show up your settings.
There is a tick box (General Settings Tab) worded:
... Disable Auto Hold Attacks

If this is Ticked, that means you are manually clicking, if you untick this, you can attack another monster while checking the dropped items in the Drop box, also, if you have a heal charm, you just need to press the hotkey (E or R) and it will start healing instead of attacking (not sure about phone users).

While you are there, you can view all the Setting tabs for your own preference.

EDIT: basically what it does is, when you click on a monster once, it will continue with that action, albeit Attack or Heal... some people don't like this, it takes practice I suppose.

ah but im trying not to kill the other EP. the idea was to grab some drops from the first, hit up the shrine with some of them and then go back and kill the other. i guess i could try to heal well im looking but does that count as an action if you are out of mana or are at max life?

If you are out of mana, it is still an action from what I could tell for the last week or two (I don't like this). With max life, you won't heal anything, and you won't lose mana, but is still an action.

EDIT: one of the reasons I hate the Two Hit Back / Double Strike abilities... if you are hotkeyed to it vs 1 mob, you do NOT attack... but I am uncertain if this is still an action and you can die if afk... I have in the past died on auto healing and running out of mana.

Removing tick from "Disable Auto Hold" will let you "Auto click" once you have clicked the monster, it stops when it is dead, you move to another monster or you click the door once (to stop the action) and then you can click door to leave cata

yes, i believe if you are OOM it still counts as an action. but this may only be if you are trying to click the mob.

You can just click the mob, attacking it, while you look through the items. Then you won’t get kicked back to town.
