longsword have 3 (0 samu pala)
warhammer have 2 (0 pala)
Battleaxe have 3 (0 pala hh)
spear have 3 (0 monk ninja)
pole have 2 (0 pala)

cause you buy spear set its need 4 chars?

No i suggested it because spear is the heavy version of a dagger.
I also think fighter should be able to use Warhammers.
Fighter can use pole which is heavy version of staff.

Id personnally consider clubs as useless as heavies but thats only my opinion.

I just dont get why I would invest on some weapons considering they deal less dps for the same amount of ee, they are harder to find and you can only use them on the classes thats we usually get through rather quickly except the BA which can be used on HH

i am incredibly unconvinced they're less dps. I've seen some heavy users rival warlocks. Especially powerful as tanks seeing you can get revenge/wildswing.
Very hard to accurately compare though.

Spears oddly enough are one of the best heavy weps because you can get stuck on both monk/ninja. This is generally why spears are one of the highest values. Battleaxes probably with the highest value as they have same functionality as axe which are also high value.

Should longswords be able to be used by ninjas and polearms by warlocks then?

This change does literally nothing, because of the 90/10 split, should always be taking a barb for the warhammers anyway imo.

My personal opinion to get some extra life into Heavy Weapons is to spice up who can use what. Currently as i said, just battleaxes are the most useful.
Warhammers ~ Paladin + Monk. Gives the option of running swords + warhammers as well as daggers + warhammers.
Battleaxes ~ Fine as is. Paladin + HH
Spears ~ Monk + HH. This allows swords + spears to cover ALL melee classes.
Polearms ~ Samurai + Paladin + Ninja. Gives potential for Staff + Polearm sets and retains dagger + polearm.
Longsword ~ Samurai + monk + ninja would be an interesting selection. Allows axes + Longsword to cover all classes.

This would lead to price increases for both longsword/spears, but probably less than you may expect. I expect the rest to not really move in terms of value.
It could be argued whether or not feeders can use heavy weapons at all if this change was to be in place.
However i would hope it would add some viability to the rest of the heavy weapons and potentially see some more sets in action

Fair distribution would be crap. this way we have more useful, more expensive and less usefull, cheaper weapons. Why make it all even? I like variety.
You can go all way with spears and BAs and just need samurai 3 doors covered which you can do offclass cast if you dont want dagger/swords or longswords with melee

Actually forgot about this thread, :D

Based on Stats: Fighter should use a Warhammer so "Replace Spear & Polearm with Warhammer"
Based on Stats: Magician should use a Spear &/or Polearm so "Add Polearm & Spear"

There are only three(3) usable heavy weapons that can be used from feeder to headhunter: Longsword / Battleaxe & Spear. Warhammer and Polearm are basically obsolete.

Just my two(2) cents worth.

longsword allows you to do longsword + dagger setup. Equally as obsolete as polearm/warhammer which are also both dagger + heavy.
Spear allows both sword + spear and dagger + spear. 2nd most useful.
Battleaxe allows dagger + battleaxe and also covers HH. Most useful.

I am talking about Heavy Weapon SETS to use from Feeder to Headhunter (outside of Int Staves for Warlock).

I doubt anyone else is like me that ONLY uses heavy weapon SETS and sell off any & all enhanced effect normal weapons (yup, I am nuts and do the same with enhanced effect armor as well).
