voted yes, i like the idea. Those that are top 3 are for a reason, its not "unfair" to those who say it would just continue to be the top 3 who are rewarded (i disagree I think with a system like this it would create more competition to climb more often). Keep in mind this is from someone who isn't and won't be in the top 3, i just really like the suggestion.


to those saying its unfair - nobody gives it to you, you have to take it.


edit: for some reason I read this as rewarding players with the most gps individually with vault days, not the guild as whole, thanks for pointing out that misread hahaha. So to further clarify, my vote would be for top 3 individual performers to get a reward, but not the guild as a whole

Now... taking into consideration of John's (LabattBlue)'s post highlighted & bolded in "Red", there is a "Reward" and "free vault transfers for the WEEK".

1. What is the "Reward" (I would assume that it is related to the GUILD!)?
2. Is the "FREE vault transfers for a WEEK" apply to the same GUILD? And if so, wouldn't it mean that more LS guilds will PAY fg for Guild Points?

Basically Ladd3r... if I was a player that was after Forum Gold, and this was implemented and being a Hardcore player that playes 16 characters and only 3 of them being Feeder class, I could make a SHIT TON of forum gold when I have 3 monks, ? Paladins, ? Samurais and the minimum amount of GPs in one week is 32 from failing @ 100fg each GP is 3200 forum gold... I could easily do this...BUT, luckily I am NOT like that, but, it is no surprise that people can do this for accomplished Guilds in the LS community to reap the rewards and profit even from Newbies.

END NOTE: Do you think that you could do the same... once per fortnight make 3200 forum gold just selling off Guild Points playing HC (if not more for passes)?

Anyways, I voted Hell No. Not enough players to make this a competition. Top 2 are always going to get the same, unless 1 of the 2 HC guilds make a high unlock. 3rd will switch between like 3 guilds.

yeah i misread, i thought it was suggesting individual players with the top 3 gps get rewarded, not the guild itself, thanks for the pointing that out!

Guilds don’t pay that much anymore. No guild could afford me if they even paid 25 per gp (that I’ve seen that has paid recently). I score probably an average of 7 gps a day without passes or gimmicks like feeder-monk HC or SC. They would be paying me 200fg a day 6k a month. 72k a year. For one player.

I offered my life time guild point services at 100k but he to foolish to pull the trigger

There should be no other incentive/award tied to HOTW other than bragging rights.

I doubt people on LS can see this being abused because they can not see past the point of return and value.

This maybe a "stand-alone" point of view if a person was only in it for the Forum Gold.

Minimum Forum Gold in 1 day of that week for a Hardcore player with 16 characters @ Master Quest level is 800 forum gold and 32 Guild Points vs 400 fg & 16 GPs for SC.

The funny thing is... currently the Hardcore market for items are CHEAPER than Softcore... damn

What is worse... if you play the waiting game and note the Guild points like Paparick does for his Scandal Sheet (weekly), you will know when it is the time to pay that HC person to attempt their master quests... and on top of that, with Transfer etc, you can aid that same person to get to MQ level in group runs (as long as you have players in HC) to get them their faster and tax them from the fg per guild point they get once they do their MQ's for guild.

So basically you bring in ringers and supply them with gear and fund them to buy their own if they are going to continue on getting more fg for nothing.

END NOTE: basically... the top 3 will always remain top 3 if they have insight and fortitude to keep their reign alive by buying in ringers... they just need to find the right ones.

I deeply resent the term ''ringer'' being applied to players like myself who have chosen to move from one guild to another.

Were there to be any incentive such as fg for GP's, there are a few of us that could bankrupt a guild in no time flat

Yes, some are more productive than others, but this is entirely by their own choice, not by ''bribery''

You need more than shut-eye -- maybe shut an orifice that is a little lower.
