Yup... that is the simple way to use it, other than that as I stated, attacking higher well monsters to hit & run (basically enter cata, attack the well monster before it attacks you and exit cata ... i.e. getting in first hit or two and repeat rinse)

So let me get this straight. You're talking about the extremely rare case where a well map also has stealth on it? The flood control must be unbearable

i have a theory on this too

I don't get many "floods", I don't spam the door even using Auto Action on. I use heavy weapon, enter, attack, when it hits I switch to heal and then click the door once to stop action and then a second time to leave the catacomb... you should try it, maybe a different way... click door once, you will notice the next action is NOT attacking, and then you can just click the door to exit.

EDIT: or dble click door after first click. It works, don't panic.

EDIT2: if you are getting floods when re-entering catacomb, open marketplace, select a tab (transfer or sell), close window then enter catacomb.
