Voted no.

Like stated by many others it will never happen.

As someone who has played solo for probably about 90% of my career MQs (mind you I don't have THAT many MQs under my belt) I would definitely rather see easy mode work on regular mobs past 71. Some of the higher classes are painful above level 71 even with above average gear so easy mode would help not only new players but more experienced noobs like me as well imo ^_^

"it will never happen" is not a reason to vote no.
if you think it's a terrible idea then that's completely legit and i see your point :P

tbh the market for level 55 ~100 ee items is horrific, new players get completely shot in the foot trying to climb with terrible weapons which discourages them from playing.
Either level 50-55 spawns need to become more common or another tier added in or the game will die.

that's my opinion anyway, it's possible we can claw back the 100s of items from the people who've quit and not bothered to resell as "they might come back" and then dont, this would also solve it.

This was actually not about the drop rate. I just think it would be cool with higher tier items.

E: And it's totally fair if people don't want it and I agree it will probably never happen.
Voting no because it will never happen is a silly reason though. If you want it then vote yes, vote no if you don't.
End of E:

As for the drop rate - yeah it could and should be way higher. Right now I usually only see tier 1's, 2's and 3's most of the time.
I don't know what the drop rate for 55 items are right now but it is too low. I usually find maybe 1 per run if I solo.

For drop rate I think the system should be rewritten to be more level based.

Say you are level 50. If the system chooses to drop, it will drop an item near your level with some variance.

Level 50+: 5%
Level 30-45: 45%
Level 0-45: 50%

That way 50% of the drops will not be useless (or it will since 99.9% of items found does not have more than 1-2% or +1-2 attribute values)

Ive been convinced for years that paul's goal is none other than to kill the game. Every update for the last decade has caused a decrease in active player numbers. Once you start looking at his reason for updating to destroy everything, it all makes more sense.

Increased drop rates, magic luck changes and events did not decrease player numbers at all.
