The snow roaring the night before Christmas,
We sit by the fire and drink egg nog whilst staying warm,
The kids know Santa will come only when they are asleep, so they rush to bed with quickness,
My wife yawns, leans over, and kisses my head as my heart starts beating like a firestorm,
“The kids are sleep” she says, time to bring out the gifts,
We put the gifts under the tree, labeled “From: Santa” with such quickness,
It’s time for bed, the fire still burning, I look at her with such love in my eyes,
The kids are going to have such a wonder surprise,
Merry Christmas!
