Even in regular mode you can go to town, put on high life regen gear, then put on your attack gear once your filled up. This still takes more time than shrining stuff though. My lvl 50 uses 38 life regen in town and fills up in less than a minute (but like most people I’m impatient and would rather just shrine what I find and go back down to catacombs immediately).

Edit got bored and timed it: with all regen gear on it took 43 seconds to go from 0 to 1891 hp

Only time i have to go shrine when I solo is if my mana runs out, if im not playing a caster, i would never have to go shrine

I never really used any tank armors before soloing



Normally I went with 80vit, 50int (using only salvation as ability, since i dont want to kill mobs too fast)
Gearwise, dag/axes/clubs w/e class i was playing, and normally some stat armor and charm.

My healcharms from 40+ is really good tho, but yes, i never go out to shrine on melee solo climbs

You never have to shrine anything when soloing a monk and run into a 3 eps wave at lvl 73? Bullshit What do you use instead? Fish? Regen?

either way, shrining is really helpful. So you can keep climbing and maybe find better gear so you dont have to shrine as much.
