I also am voting no. Feel free to flame me if you wish.

My reasoning is that we already have rogues which are capable of detecting trap doors.

I would rather the “no trap doors” event be removed entirely and replaced with another.

I vote change to detect. I like trapdoors. As long as u are max 9 levels below a monster level u still get proficiency. A single trapdoor is 2-7 levels higher than current if I recall. (And you can level up out of it I think too)

also don't understand why people are voting no.

A no trapdoor event is more of a nono for me also, most of my better drops have been in TD's

Voted yes and disagree on that one.
What about those who want to keep on playing their main chars and probably finish a map without falling into tds ?!
I don’t want to go for a mule just to be sure not getting into one.

Long story short - I like the idea or at least something similar to that.

Yeah i think it would be a cool idea if he can make it happen. Anything to make the game better and more fun. no one likes falling down a shit hole..

Also I think there's no reason to say no to this. It only makes it better for us players to make our own decisions on how to play the event.

I’m torn between no and yes. Certain classes have this ability already built into the game. Like with some event modifiers, it’s meant to make things harder for certain aspects of the game, this is no different in removing an aspect.

I see these two options.

1. Keep “No Trapdoors” but have the event generator reject the ability to have other modifiers associated with trapdoors. Waste of a modifier. (Not sure if this is possible)

2. Remove “No Trapdoors” completely and rely on the current built-in character abilities

Two times now we have had events with no trap doors and then a multiple on trap door monsters

What do people not understand about this suggestion.

You would rather keep no trap doors and have a part of the event not apply? Than have the no trap doors changed to all trap doors detected?
