The way I understand it, it depends more on the type of monster you are fighting? No?

Shite Ls vs normal mobs
Decent vs eps
And not bad va well mobs

that's the way it used to work.

Now it's based on your character level in relation to damage dealt. Life steal is more effective at lower levels however logically speaking will render probably around the same amount of life steal as higher levels because you're doing lower damage at lower levels. At higher levels you're doing higher damage but lifesteal is less effective.

Doesn’t it say in his post that the new system is based on monster difficulty vs your lvl -101 (whatever that actually means :P )

I think it’s something like:
Your LS effectiveness drops by 1% for each level you gain, this is then somehow multiplied by the difficulty of the monster you are fighting, meaning that it goes waaay down the higher level you are. So yeah, it should really depend on which type of monster you are fighting.

To answer the question you asked in your first post, I agree with what Meridus said in his first post, although I’d say that it is a great mod if you only play solo and completely useless for group climbs.

It’s not something that I would value at all if it means accepting less dex or str on your charm. 50 dex with some LS = fantastic, 40 dex with 6 LS = no way ^^

Actually you need insane gear to make it kinda work...

For me it's kinda "okay" ish to climb solo with paladin while wearing a 240ee axe, 13% LL and around 80 statts.

Still not even close to go without shrines on higher levels.

E/ tank armor + statt charm works much better imo.
