Guess what, Nobody but you gives a fuck if its LS related because someone felt the need to inform the community of their surgery. Nobody else gets butthurt over someone being frightened and posting for some support. What went wrong in your life were someone looking for comfort and support before a big surgery causes you to flip out and act like they are a bad person for it. Seriously get a fucking clue. You're posts aren't you just being an asshole. You're being a heartless piece of shit. If you dont like the post, ignore it. You dont need to show everyone that you have no compassion for another human all because the post isnt related to LS strongly enough in your eyes.

PS your posts are more often spam than his lately. At least he isnt a complete douche in the process too.

That is exactly my point, he has a family of 15 years, he has support and people that care about him in real life, is this not enough?

Yeah I am heartless, and because of that I know from experience of doing this in the past has helped real life people to move forward, and it can also help here when he has loved ones that are at his side for the rest of his life instead of pixels displayed on a screen from people that only show sympathy because of their own empathy towards a fellow human. Be content with those that are around you with true intentions instead of the possibility of false empathy.

Hate me all you want, the truth is this... have you ever had a drink or conversation with Cartrack in real life? No? Have you ever posted negative shit about Cartrack and his posts in the past? Yes? Yup, hence those replies coming from people that have belittled him and his previous posts and crapped on him... I am the arsehole now for speaking the truth... kinda two faced if you ask me.

It isn't that at all. I believe that your true life lies with those at your beckon side... it is personal for me, I don't consolidate with anything openly in General chat, I may PM or talk to a gamer friend by other means, but, never General, as they don't need to know because I am not that close to them, I don't want misguided empathy for my health... as I stated, personal belief... people can give me shit all they want about my posts, they don't know me outside of the game, they don't know anything about me or my achievements, do I need them to recognise these things... no... do they need to portray theirs to me? ... No. The game is why I am here... I play the game to get away from real life crap... why do I have to come to a game general chat and hear about someones tragedy... it hurt me when two(2) people I respect as gamers died, but then someone posts "Oh god, I may not live through this surgery" got to me... I don't know you... yes I have empathy for your situation, but, I don't need to see it advertised in a gaming forum... it is personal preference for me.

As for people shitting on you previously then showing empathy for you is funny as fuck... I gave you shit before... but it was game related crap, never once in my suggestions did I make a "Oh I vote for Cartrack" or any other shit comments responding to others... have a look... never ONCE have I ever made a post using Cartrack as a reply.

So am I wrong for letting people that I play a video game with for the past year or so know that I’m going through surgery and that the outcome so far was a success? We get that you don’t care but I promise you that if the story was flipped and you were going through surgery then yes most of us would put our differences aside and wish you the best of luck. That is the human thing to do EVEN if we may never meet in real life.

Yes other have posted cràp about me in previous posts BUT I have done the same as well, and worse in most cases! If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen so to say....however IF anyone else, including yourself, posted about any real life hardship I and most others would give you our full support and prayers.

Well put Ive got plenty of friends online that Ive maybe never met but definitely consider just as real as someone I can go out for a drink at the bar. Ive had the pleasure of knowing multiple people online for over 10 years. Some of those people Ive gone on to meet in person while others not so much. Either way if something were to come up like a major surgery Id want them to know how much they mean before potentially never seeing/hearing from them again. I think you will find most people do not share Rex's disdain for posts such as this as long as its not a regular thing Glad the surgery went well at any rate!

That said Im still gonna rip on dumb suggestions comes with the territory just gotta get used to that.
