Just hoping I'm able to find a group when I start. I don't mind solo but the social aspect makes the climb easier.

should be fine, make sure you have a vault and chuck all your climbing gear in it as we 1-71 in 1 go. Not sure how long back since you played.

I did 6 MQ's yesterday, most of them group.

There is one(1) play style per person, no one plays like me, they bitch about my opinions or suggestions.

The dynamic of the group and how they climb can be different also based on their gear and also their play style, like there are a group of players on Hardcore that will NOT trust a healer in the group if they don't keep their hit points above 80%, whereas some groups won't mind going down to 50%. Some groups whistle from 1-MQ, others whistle so far and explore later on, some don't whistle at all and enter every TD and so on, that is why it is to find out what the group is doing and ask for some advice if a person is new to game.

Do you suggest that I just have both sets in vault and if I find a group ask there preference based on their setup, whether or not they have tank or not.. ect and then over time I’ll pick up what o need to do

It’s quick to switch a set out. No reason to have to have both in their. Just find out what is needed at start of climb and go from their. People will let you know what’s needed also.

It doesn't hurt to have both armor setups in vault. Just ask them if they want you to tank or melee. During time, you will get more recognition in groups for playing both roles and most likely get in more runs.

EDIT: The group know what you will need at early levels and so forth... you may switch roles at higher levels in game, or use stat gear from 1-15 then tank and so forth.

1. fighter
2. 80-100 vit soloing/tanking rest into str for swords. Less vit for dps and still str for swords
3. plenty viable for soloing the first 3 classes I see people with far worse gear completing mqs
