Am I to gather that you want this implemented for the following reasons.

1. To gauge how much life/mana return when you shrine certain tier items and their quality?
2. To gauge how much life/mana return when you come across a Warm light in normal catacombs?
3. To gauge your killspeed (experience gain) to the loss of life you endure?

Basically being able to test/gauge different aspects as you climb and also evaluate the best shrines to keep and use during your climb based on your level.
Example: At level 35 and 50% health, I can throw in a TierIII Godly item and get full life.

Is the above assumption correct? If yes, there are some other things you can do to gauge things.

Since you have a standard amount of vitality, you will notice that if you keep to certain Tier & Mod items will ALWAYS give you the same amount of life, UNLESS, one of your items has +Max life on it (if I remember correctly from 2 years ago, this did affect amount returned). You will also notice that if you have lower Int than Vita, the return is less to mana. HOW does this help you? It helps because you can have a certain point on the life bar to indicate when to shrine.

The suggestion is a good one, but I do find that using just common sense to evaluate life / shrine amount is easy, but then I guess I am just used to it because I practically keep my life bar above 50%.

EDIT: Null Vote, personally it can be added, but not needed. I did not vote Not Needed because in reality, some people think it is.

What does this have to do with anything? I see what Rex is saying with maybe wanting to see how much a shrine gives or something? but also agree that it's pretty easy to common sense guess the amount based off the bar. It just seems completely unnecessary to add.

So you want to gauge your avg damage vs Evil Presence or Objective monsters then?
Personally I gauge it by each attack made and the numbers shown when I hit them.

In a sense it could be okay, but not needed again, also, wish you had stated this in your post;
