Yes, reason is I stopped paying attention. I pulled up another tab to read a PM, and just didn't watch my hp. I looked back with about 300 life, and started mashing the door, but I guess I was mid-swing, because I just couldn't get out in time
So, thank you all for your condolences, but don't feel too bad for me. It was definitely my fault.

Yeah, I've considered quitting HC for a long time, but honestly it's not even the risk of loss that compels me. I thought HC would have a better economy, because items being regularly removed through death should be making room to sell even mediocre hear, occasionally. But the population is just so small. Population ends up being the deciding factor in the economy, instead of game mechanics. So we'll see, I'll play PoE for awhile, and may be I'll switch to SC when I come back
