Nope why would I revert to tutorial mode just because a developer decides to release events that literally break half the game? If I cant play where the progress means something to me, then I simply wont play.

Literally the only reason people play hardcore is to say you're different. The game is the exact same, except you play like a gigantic pussy the whole time.
