No, everybody have to feel the pain of getting to 1 million skilling prof or more the normal way ^^

Although I've heard that "before" you got 1 prof per click when you were doing skills, so if Paul could bring that back instead, I'd be on board ( I'm still not sure if that's true, can someone confirm? )

That would make skilling about 2 times faster than what it is now, because I've noticed that atm you get about 0.5 prof on average when you're skilling ( more or less )

But if he already nerfed it once, I don't think he'll change it back, it's the same deal with the poofing wells/wells in town or the item use thing / quest nerfs, he changed them "for a reason" and I don't think he'll ever reverse them

Would be nice if some sort of events come back though :D

I just want to see something make it more enticing to actually do.

Yes, I gave one reason in my first reply: this would give the feeling that I need to have a separate set of gear while skilling, and that would be annoying and cumbersome.

I also just think that the problems it would work to fix would be better fixed in other ways. I'm not very sympathetic to established players complaining that new players would catch up. But, if we wanted more ways to give some newer skillers a leg up, simply increasing prof gains, or doing events again.

As far as getting more movement in the market, I think buffing other magical stats to actually feel more impactful in combat would be a better way to do this. Of course, I think the tiny player base is by far the most detrimental factor on the economy, and I just don't see doing any work in that department.
