I would be happy if wells stays min for 10items.

Too much coding .. Looks like you are the developer?

Actually it is a pretty easy to do if statement and nothing special. Coding wise it is rather simple.
Wells already give better drops than normal mobs.

A solution would be: the well to stay forever unless you start exploring or whistle. In this case all discovered wells to disappear.

a good point. People couldn't camp on the well if they started whistling. Everyone is able to do their wellables without having to do 5x climbs to find them all and once you're done with your wellables and start whistling a bit you lose it @@.

if the well is on last spot of explored maze, you wont be able to hold it if you need to town for shrine/buy new whites
only solution is to spawn a mob to keep the map active. So you'd always need to remember to throw in a white and spawn a mob befor going town, since whistle would poof the well
Also any accidently misclick on whistle or sidestep after re-engaging the well would make it poof.

I mean having to amount of wells you can do somewhat tied to a controllable scenario would improve the overall frustration. Like if I know I can do at least x-amount of wells, I can priotize the whites. Now it is just a random thing, which sucks.

Are you the developer? If it is so simple then do it instead of making a thread.

As for “prioritizing” your items, you can still do this even if the well poofs after 1-2 attempts. Or if you are full and need more wells maybe post a thread in catacombs that you need a well and I’m sure someone will have one for you before the end of the day. Or ask me since I usually find one every other day or so.

Yes ofc. This is why you'd have to establish a minimum amount of whistles or something like that so there's a margin for error.

Make wells time based instead of use based. Can't camp it if it poofs after 10-15 mins. Can do a lot in that time period.

I honestly have had no issues keeping up with the number of whites dropping. It seems to me that if you start gathering more than you can complete in groups you should run a solo climb full explore. Whistle next to the well until you reach a level where you can begin welling the lowest of your whites. When it breaks continue looking for wells. Im normally finished welling my items by lvl 45-50 regardless of how many I saved.

Sounds like group welling is just inefficient overall. Even a well that takes 50 items to break only lets each person do 10 each. Thats not nearly enough.
