I used to get upset about the interface issues. A lot of great potential everywhere with the game. We each feel like there should be some sense of loyalty to us because of time and expense invested in the game. That's not the case. That in itself drives long time players away in addition to all the other common reasons. Then I think if I were the creator and I have a player base now of 50 active users how motivated would I really be to keep it going. Not at all. So as a player we just accept it and continue or take the losses of time and expense invested and move on. Crappy as that is.
I know every discussion leads to this but I will say again: Who other than the creator is responsible for the current size of players base? Who did decide to lead LS to all the weird changes removing some of the favorite features on the game? The feedback from the players was always available. That should be a good part of having a game inside of a gaming forum right? Constant feedback.
Well, I'm sure that those 50 players aren't playing because of the game nowadays, but to keep in touch with good friends that were made in all those years. Sad but true.
edit: to stay in topic. That's a huge loss Dano. I'm sorry for you and Safmy.
