Looks like you're doing great! If you're not already planning to, I would recommend picking up a tanking armor somewhere around level 40 - 55 req if you're soloing. As a barbarian you will probably be looking for a scale (best but most expensive), chain (good and not that expensive), or leather (not quite as good as scale or chain but better than other options). You could also consider a plate (cheap and beats wearing cloth). Getting one of these with high enhanced effect will allow you to stay in cata longer without towning when you're soloing by reducing damage taken (if good enough, down to 0 or close).

Thank you! Glad you think so :D
I don't want to be a tank on him, atleast that's not what I considered, I think I should go with str on the armor for my first character. Next time I'll try ee
And I'll keep those armor bases in consideration when purchasing more items for him. Tyty!

Yeah it's a valid choice. If you're soloing, without top end gear you're going to be spending a lot of time in town regenning after around level 40 without ee armor, but you will kill faster. You can always pick up some cheap life regen gear to switch to when in town to make that go by faster too :) In group, you will ofc be using the stat armor, so it is a good idea to invest in that

Hmm you're right.. Both stats are good in it's way, str more dmg and ee more tanky.. it's mostly personal preference I guess..
I have nothing against picking up some bad items and just shrining them to regain life either, I find that to be quite efficient :)
