I earlier said that most would say no, and a majority of the group has yet to vote (or most don't care and nulled like I did) however like Hayden and a few others stated, this activity IS nice and it is good to see something happening with the game again. I also agree an update is needed (desperately) to reinvigorate the game and add more dimension, depth and fun to our everyday gameplay. Profs and items for skilling really aren't enough, even for the Hardcore climbers and even Labby can only get so many GP's before it becomes pointless.
This bonus in particular, is only useful IF you encounter them at the right times during solo. Many times you will explore and NOT find them until after you have either leveled, or stepped out of the catacombs to shrine. This is known as the law of Murphy and is truth (truly prevalent in LS). Although that is luck, in LS the worst case scenario is the norm and that means this usually happens quite frequently. The other problem is that you may not even FIND a warmlight (like chests, wells and EP enconunters) and that can make most say screw it as well. Again, the RNG in effect. I am not saying this shouldnt have been added, but double effectiveness AND % chance to spawn would have made it MUCH more useful and helpful to groups/solo players to make solo more desirable an options.
