Just got a useful and decent drop for my guardian

Mystical bronze plate mail
Physical Defense: 13 to 40
Magical Defense: 0 to 6

+41% Enhanced Effect
+1% Life Steal
+1% Earth Mastery

It really looks that luck could be on my wings.

Few moments later i got this club

Mystical elm club
Damage: 7 to 35

+12 Intelligence
+1 to 6 Mana per Kill
+4% Mana Syphon

Not sure if i should keep and put to use later, 12 Int is better then nothing.

Okay... because I have been drinking all day [approx 22 hours] I will not comment on your items. SO, based
on that, I will give you some basic advice for starting HC with a guardian.

1. Level 1 to level 15 = Max Life gear and pum your stat points into vitality
2. Ability points you need are simple... 3 points into Salvation first off = level 10 character.
3. @ level 15... you put a point into Multheal... this will keep going until level 25 ... NOTE: 48% for Salvation and also Multiheal @ level 25.

Your gear from this point, and the rest of your abilities are based around the group you are gaming with... if the other 4 people kill fast, then
that is better for you! If the other characters take time in killing, then you have to re-evaluate your build... BUT... if you are solo'ing, it is simple
to calculate what abilities and level you want to reach based on your gear.

PM me... 95% of the community that is around does not know how to make a Hardcore Guaridan build at all... as for myself... just check my profile
and my characters and also the Heavy weapons table... :D

that plate is okay - if you have a maxlife charm already. (you have that on III) . check
the club.. if lucky itsells for 1fg. for a glypher . clubs need enhanced effect for a melee. If you cast you need int on your weapon, but then its mostlikely a dagger or a staff ( mage, warlock) . And then again, at lowlevel you want maxmana over int.

@ rex : i told him to use salvation and powerstrike , since i assume most beginners need to solo quite a lot. unfortunatly he used healback and multiheal already before i had the chance to advice( +salvation now), so he is pretty close to your config :P

more questions?feel free to pm me or izparagonzi(rex)

Thank you both for directing me in the right way, it looks that i still made some mistakes in spending stat points and picking the right abilities.
As you both said guardian build is more based on what kind of group do you join, if you find one, and it gets more complicated for a newcomer.
Should i go back to level 1 and start all over or just head on and learn while playing?

Solo: Salvation + Retribution [using heavy weapons]
Solo: Salvation + Powerstrike [Using Club]

Only reach 40% [5 ability points] for either Retribution or Powerstrike.
Only reach 48% [3 ability points] for Salvation
Save the rest of the ability points for later, your gear will determine whether you need more Salvation while solo'ing, OR, you may
end up in a group where you can spend the saved abilty points for Multiheal to help the group.

As for stat points... either pump Vitality to 100 or 125, the rest goes into Intelligence to help you heal more and increase your mana pool

I will follow your build for sure, i got to a higher level this time and will hit 25 pretty soon.
Just that i kind of feel that points that i used on mana on first climb were very helpful when healing, not sure if that's the reason i heal less life now or maybe i wasn't used with the heal range...

This weapon is on market for 3 forum gold, does heal mastery increase your heals or not really?

Magical ebonwood club, Damage: 23 to 106, +38% Heal Mastery

or this armor would be a wiser choice for better heals?

Rare diamond plate mail, Physical Defense: 40 to 120, Magical Defense: 0 to 16, +38 Intelligence, +2% Magical Damage Reduction (its price is 19 forum gold, quite expensive)

Also if you heal charm in main slot and the charm above in acc. slot would that increase heals also?

Mystical heal XII, Heals: 63 to 169, +40 Intelligence, +1 to 4 Mana per Attack, +1% Mana Skin (this is 5 forum gold).

Int will help you more than heal mastery.
Be sure not to go for an int weapon or heal mastery weapon though, as you still need damage to kill.
In a group if you go full heal, an int weapon could be used, but some damage output along with heals is always better.

I'm sure if I'm talking nonsense i'll be corrected very soon.

in your first climb you made it to lvl 14 .. now you are 24 .. and you use your charms differently . for some reason you have your ee charm in mainslot and the maxlife charm in acc slot. switch them out . ONLY ee works in ACC slot, all other stats will be ignored.

that 38 hm club is not good for you soloing. It Could be okay in case you group up and have to heal, atleast its better then ee weapon when it comes to healing. but you wont do any damage on the monsters
Alrdy told you on post#13 that clubs need enhanced effect for melee ( you are hitting with a weapon, so you do melee damage) . thats also why that 12int club was bad. you want enhanced effect on your weapons.

that 38int armor CAN be used, (again, in case you group up and heal the group it will be very good and push the heals alot) . For soloing it would be better to use an armor with enhanced effect . you take less damge that way.
If you cant find any ee armor, the 38int is your choise. (compare the defense with your current lvl 15 72ee , its an upgrade defense wise AND heal wise.)

the 40 int charm is again a good heal pusher. But you need to use it in mainslot ! as sayd , only enhanced effectworks in acc slot , all other stats will be ignored in acc slot.
but then, up to level 40 you might want to have a better ee charm in your acc slot, the level 10 wont do the job much longer
note : a blank lvl 25 heal with no enhanced effect is already better then that level 10 heal 57ee

heal rage charges differently (charges with weapon)and heals the front row (up to 5 people if they stay in front), salvation charges on hit taken ( when you get hit) but i think salvation makes bigger (single)heals.
heal rage works only if you stay in front , salvation works on any position

you might have less mana and lesser heals, but more life. means you have more time to charge the abilities up and you can use them at a higher % , which should equal things out.
dont forget you are 10 levels higher then last time and use maxlife in the wrong slot and lvl 15 items. thats why it feels harder (ithink)

Heal Rage = Barbarian ability =Charges with Amount Healed = Increased Damage output like Powerstrike / Retribution.
Heal Tank = Heals all characters in front = Charges with Weapon.

Test your EE healing charm in your MAIN slot and compare the difference between that and the 40 int being in your main slot and EE heal in ACC.

Your weapon needs EE, if you are lucky, you can find one with EE + HM or Int... but the odds of that happening is pretty far.
