Papa-rant

Prior to reset, there was a fallacious belief that the mob's increased +3 per trap. Fallacious, maybe, but widely accepted by the players, as there was indeed a noticeable xp gain from a TD, and we then played 3 lvls, looking for another.

This was peanut butter and jelly-sandwich time for many of us.

I found out that the xp gain was somewhat stronger than we believed in that it was a random 1 - 10 increase, and that it stacked. This was an awesome bit of info.

I got this from Paul himself, and passed the info around as much as possible.

And so the latest reset happens -- TD xp has gone down the sewers compared to what we used to have, and we are supposed to cheer about the miniscule XP gain we now receive from TD's ??

Thanks but no thanks.

Okay, will be sure to set the mobs in catacombs back to how they were in 1.19. That means that effective next patch, you will go back to getting less experience, per monster (per kill), unless you hit a trapdoor. That is what changed, the overall level range of monsters decreased, so you would get better experience as a result.

So yes, I suppose you should be cheering that you get overall more experience without even having to hit a trapdoor. Not surprised, however, because even with bonuses, you still complain.

Seeya next version, can't wait. :)

i think it is fine the way it is... i notice the monsters get harder after 3 trap doors... i was just wondering what were the bonuses
i like it now, when i kill a monster in cata, i get 1 exp. works out in the long run when you play solo.

And a means to solo MQ in under 17 hours, not everyone can commit to doing catas 4 hours straight

People that have somewhat busy lives enjoy ladder slasher too, penalizing them sucks

Nah, if I do that, then that means development on LS will permanently stop. You can't have it both ways.

It's a joke. I won't punish 99% of the people that play this game due to the disrespectful and foolish behavior of a petty few.
