Okay, will be sure to set the mobs in catacombs back to how they were in 1.19. That means that effective next patch, you will go back to getting less experience, per monster (per kill),
unless you hit a trapdoor. That is what changed, the overall level range of monsters decreased, so you would get better experience as a result.
So yes, I suppose you should be cheering that you get overall more experience without even having to hit a trapdoor. Not surprised, however, because even with bonuses, you still complain.
