Either 2 things happened here. You dont cast, or you don't pay attention to what casters are doing (or haven't been in a group with random players, as I have since I work third shift and am up these hours). This thread isnt meant to be funny. Its accurate to the T of what is actually going on.

It is not about the build to be a good caster.
It is about the tactics to utilise what you have at hand.
It is also about understanding the game enough to understand that you are going
to be either good or useless in a group...

A caster should also be able to heal.
A caster should know how much delay it takes per monster group
A caster should have backup heals, no-matter the group dynamics
A caster should be able to use 70%ee + items and have a some sort of melee (dependent upon the character build... so Alchemists are exempt from this)

There are shitloads of stuff you have not taken into account as you or others have great or godly casting gear... we don't.
