What about damage taken?

I guess there still are crits from monsters. Are they only affected by dex?

Guess this charm is worth quite a bit now

Str vs Dex comparisons after 100 actions on each charm

Using the dex charm, total dmg 60,625, (73//735//2130)
Str 172, Dex 119

Using the str charm, total dmg 71,787, (109//807//2308)
Str 212, Dex 60

Please note -- this is when using swords -- it will differ for the other melee weapons, of course

As much as i admire your gear, would you please post something that contributes to the topic?

Which weapon were you using? and did you record the damage taken as well?

Ricks Setup 1:
172 Str
119 Dex
Sword: -> 172*0,75+119*0,25 = 158,75
Avg Dam: 735
735/158,75 = 4,630

Ricks Setup 2:
212 Dtr
60 Dex
Sword: -> 212*0,75+60*0,25 = 174
Avg Dam: 807
807/174 = 4,638

The values Damage/Combined Stats are the same for both setups, wich indicates that the damage is independent from crit's (wich means Str adds 0,75 to critvalue and Dex adds 0,25).
Because i only took into account the total amount of actions, not the time used for the 100 actions in both Setup 1 and setup 2, this might differ a little, but not much.
Still, the damage taken is unknown but interesting, because in last version dexterity affected damage taken as well (high dex->less crits)

It would be interesting to have a similar Setup using Daggers. Especially a Dex-only and a Str-only build in comparison. It would be of great help if anyone could state the avg. values for Stats (Str/dex), Damage done (especially avg), and damage received.

I guess a DEX-only Dagger Setup will prove stronger than ANY other Weapon/Stat-Setup!

I can do a similar test with daggers on my Sammy

Pretty sure dex was always an important factor when it comes to crits/blocking crits.

The ratio of damage has changed, but dex still helps with criticals and also defense vs crit.
