you cant stack different tier fishs, so this doesnt realy help at this point...

Haven't tried fishing yet, but now I may have to. No more monsters to disrupt the rythm? Yes! Don't have to stop to pick up every fish, just stack them once I'm full? Yes!

Thanks Joe, I just found one more thing I like about the update.

Trying really hard to keep a positive frame of mind after arena has been removed, and frankly, I see many things to be positive about.

So I finally got to fish in a dark pool, only to lose my rod 92 dura lvl 35 rod in 2 shots somehow. I'm not sure what the exact sequence of events was but I suspect it went like this:

1) I start fishing
2) Someone else in group apparently started welling something
3) I clicked reel once on the fish but then the rod snaps.

Anyone know if it is safe to fish while others well or am I subject to monster attack and loss of a rod?

You can fish in the well while others are attacking (and even attack and stop reeling for a few turns if you REALLY wanted to).

If you have any ideas on the fishing in inventory and stacking, let me know (such as maybe having a way to set it so they auto stack onto another stack of the same tier..) The option to pick will not be returning due to optimizations in the core and client to make things more streamlined and efficient (and expandable). Eg, the very fact that you can fish in a group in the middle of a fight in catacombs..

Yeah, It happened to me too Sir. I was fishing, (loaner rod though) and then he just w/a/s/d move around some more and monsters showed up, it interupted my fishing

Did the rod snap or did you just go back to the catas?



That sounds interesting but I'm not sure how easy it will be to work around this. 7 tiers of fish x 2 types were already hard to organize. I'm still confused on the point of catacomb group fishing while people are fighting. Am I going to be attacked and possibly killed if I am fishing and others are fighting?

Will we at least be able to fish if our inventory is full?

imo erasy possibility to fish in catas and let us decide which fish we wanne grab and which not, paul.
would be best imo ... i'm not such a pro like cylon but i hate to check after 5 caught fishes what kind and quality they have

Not going to happen. The fact you could fish in catacombs was not the catalyst for this, but just one of the options.

Cylon: Yes, of course you can get hit (and die) if there is a fight going on. Also, if the leader MOVES from the well, it will cancel the fish attempt, but that won't break your rod.

My fishing rod disappeared(probably broke) when my group left the well.
I wouldnt suggest fishing there if you are not the leader.

e/ maybe it was my imagination then. ^^
but when i later looked back it wasnt there.

either way fishing in a pool within a group isnt very practical most of the time.
