we only have "heal mastery .. not wild heal mastery, regular heal mastery and focused heal mastery ... so it would be:

weapon mastery
( heavy weapon mastery ? )
( casting masstery ?? )
heal mastery

like the idea of this, not if it is as specified out as ur first post thou, then we indeed would have too many stats ... we allready have useless stats:
jubiliance
mind numb ( was usefull before the magical def update, now its useless )

im wearing magic luck when muting/glyping ... and i have gained several lvls from all jubi while being at work also, even made myself a +6/+8/+8 jubi set wearable from 35 or soo for same reason ... but even with that said .. its a useless mod

There are some people complaining that melee characters were screwed over or left out with the release of the mega crits by casters, but to be honest i would rather solo with a good tanking melee character than a casting character due to the fact a melee character will go longer chains because it doesn't use mana each hit. Yes casters do have a slight advantage in catacombs but you just need to live with that fact cause that's how it is... :)

it is just as useful....Paul said that the magic defense has always been there but just did not show up before

negative, imo a 210 EE boost from "mastery" would make ee items almost worthless.

This suggestion was based only for melee, but, after consideration, it could be useful to add for other things like offensive casting.
If that was the case, and there are too many so called mods, maybe have it more simplified to:
XX% Weapon Mastery (this is reflected in any type of weapon worn)
XX% Offensive Casting Mastery (this is reflected in any type of offensive charm worn)

Note: Healing charms also get EE while having Heal Mastery, is there a real difference for having other Mastery for Offensive Casting / Weapons?

You can not get 210 Weapon Mastery... only the same as Heal Mastery.

I do not think that it would effect the EE that is naturally on the weapon.
Heal Mastery helps 210ee heal charms, so there is no difference at all.

The only difference I can see is healing extremely well wont allow you to 1-2 shot mobs. I mean healing mastery does effect climb speed, but not as much as the offensive mods

fyi you can have 210 heal mastery, technically 280 with a glyph.

This would make EE weps = fail.
