The PM factor in LS is not as strictly enforced as it is in other games. Why?? Because there is no one-on-one encounters whereby the items are traded. There is the built-in middleman of the Market Place, through which all trades must go.

However, there has always been a bone of contention as to how prices are arrived at, and this is usually done via PM. Many abhor this practice, many others embrace it.

Personally, I would like to see all offers listed in a trade topic, in order for all bidders to see how their bids are holding up.

It's not against the rules, and honestly? If I have a friend PM me looking for an item, and you're bidding against them in the thread? Fuck the price. I'll sell to them and tell you to piss off 12 times in 10.

So again, you've been on JSP for years, and you've been playing LS for a considerable amount of time as well. Grow a set and stop crying, or be the child you appear, and continue on, mate. Your choice.

Edit: Disclaimer, I'm assuming your guild mate was looking for the item for you, or your guild in general. If for himself? Um... Why're you even making the topic? Let him do his own crying.
