One thing I was thinking could be a nice change is to help out the newer players basically. It has to do with the way strength scales with the EE on your weapons.

Without getting into the actual math, the idea is basically still make strength scale, but maybe make it a little stronger for weapons with 99 or lower EE. The idea is with these low EE weapons, strength will increase weapon damage as if the weapon was 100EE.

For instance if 1 strength added 4 total damage to a level 55 axe with 100EE, it should also add 4 damage to a level 55 axe with only 20EE. Obviously the overall damage on the 20EE axe is still much much lower, but people wouldnt mind cataing with them, or solo would be more possible. It wouldnt effect the balance of the game since anything higher then 100EE would still scale up as it does now

true this, almost all deaths are lag related. i've been fortunately to only disconnect once and have major lag once. the major lag was due to the old chat log box lagging a shit ton when it came up before paul fixed it.

Maybe a better way to work this thread is to pick from a list of topics. Find something very negative about it. Then, discuss a solution.

Topic: Most people agree that Transmuting as a whole sucks in its current state. I was never around for the old version for it, and I'm not suggesting to go back to that way either.

Problem: I think one of the biggest problems is no one can even transmute a level 55 yet. So lets discuss how it would be fair for people to attempt level 55 transmutes before 2012.

Possible fair Solution: Maybe a decent solution would be to make a new table of whats possible to mute for each level, and also to add something else into the mix, a cool down. By level 14 you I think it would be fair to be able to transmute a Magical tier 14, however it would be a once a day attempt. Increasing levels in transmuting would effect magical prefix as well as allow more attempts per day. How much or how fast it increase could be determined by Njaguar. But I think the idea itself is solid.

This sounds like an interesting suggestion that could be further looked in to.

I believe transmuting should be completely removed from the game. Any attempt to make it easier is not a good thing imo.

I am hoping Paul adds some new objectives! A little more spice would be nice ;)

So lets remove glyphing, proficiencies, the ability to buy the in game currency, and even item drops. I disagree with you about transmuting.

However the topic of objectives is a good one. Anyone have a fun idea?

I agree but the people who invested a lot of time into it wouldn't like it.
NN to remove but changed yes.

New objectives would be nice.
Would like to see something more accomplishable for the people who don't have the gear.
(not saying leaching is good but for those who don't have the fg to upgrade, considering this game requires a decent amount of fg or alot of time working on prof to do some real dmg)

I don't really care what he adds as long as it brings in more people to the game.

Notice how there isnt a poll in this thread? its because yes or no answers are useless.

Talk about it. What dont you like? Is it an overall bad idea? Do you have a suggestion of your own? Anything but '[x] no' would be better
