Why support it Members should join a guild because they want the company of close friends not to get payed a couple of fg per Gp.. Guilds who can only get gps because they pay for them  Dont mean shit if they are higher up on the list... Hell I view them as being lower than the random noob guilds that just randomly spawn... Their members have no loyalty, they are just in it for a quick couple of fg for what most of the idiots just turn around and take it to the D2 fourms while they continue to leach off the backs of some one who has not only invested a shit load of fg into the game but also  a mass amount of time. It's the Same reason why the  Fg for newbs  shit was removed for the new ladder slasher people appeared they got a character to level ten then What do you know Invested nothing into Ls and went to spam central Home of the illiterate back stabbing Baboons......

Best advice i could give any new slasher dont join a guild cause you get a shitty 25 fg per gp Join a Guild that actually has Fucking Meaning.......

I wouldn't be slashing if i hadn't been paid for my GPs at the start.

I had no way of funding my slashing, but my guild leader gave me fg per gp and that allowed me to upgrade my gear.

and your prices are wrong, gps are usually ~75fg i believe.

The number was just an example..... Yeah I funded all my shit from Slashing Solo for the longest time.... My guild was nothing but guidance only help i got was about prices... But then again knowing i was in the best guild on Jsp was payment enough... I dont feel Gps should be bought or i should say a person's true reason for being in a guild shouldn't be based on the sole fact that the Guild buys your mqs....

concerning the post about guilds being the dregs of society for buying gp's:

In life the greatest of all empires are build off this concept, businesses, cities, countries, governments, army's, everything.

Miami was built from nearly 100% illegitimate money, it is now one of the greatest cities. Drug lords had literally billions in cash. If you didnt know, any deposite at a bank over 10,000 needs to be explained to the IRS or you get investigated. So a drug lord with 50 million in cash needed some way to spend it without going through a bank. Well they built skyscrapers. they then rented these out and the earnings from their rental space can be justified and bank rolled.

The American military force has over 100,000 non military, navy, army, air force contractors in Iraq. They are not legitimate "soldiers" but mercenaries rather. does that mean the us military is partially "fake"?

I worked with the guy that in the 70's owned the third largest accounts receivable buisness in the eastern united states. When he got started he was denied the opportunity to work for a very large hospital cause he didnt have enough staff.
He went and bought 60 broken telephones, payed 60 random people to come into his office for 2 hours one day and act like they were employees working. He then brought the hospital executives on a tour of his "fake" office. He got them to sign a contract and then did the job with a staff of 10, when the hospital was under the impression that his staff was 70+. Does this make his business not real?

I agree with what Przy says, he nailed it. d2jsp is a business. guild owners are the "buisness" owners of jsp. they are essentially doing the same thing my friend did. using "fake employees" to get a foot in the door to becoming a great guild. as he stated, many of the great guilds today got their starts by buying points.

A lot of people have to start somewhere. As example, before HOD (hands of divinity was deleted) Jesse (former owner) paid 100 fg per guild point. I earned enough fg, then moved on to Anima Templi where we converted to a "serious ls guild" that was spawned from HOD when Paul deleted the entire guild. While in Anima Templi, I made 138 guild points, all from a start of earning 600 fg paid from GP's and the 75 fg I started to begin with. Then I made my own guild where I currently have 209 gp's and retired with 300 total mq's...

I knew some people from HoD before i moved to LS

My point is a person shouldn't just want to join a guild based on the fact they pay for gps...... Empire never payed for my Gps I was fortunate enough to start playing Ls Before the new Muting Prof.....

A quote I like is "you do one thing the way you do all things"

this means if your car is messy, you're room/house probably is as well, just as your place of work.

If you dont get along with teachers at school, you probably dont get along with boss's at work, unless they are the cool kin that smoke out back.

Im guessing most people on JSP that have acquired tens of thousands of fg, probably have the mind set that would make them desirable in the business world.

thats why i see a comparison of real life economics and fg or pixels as a still accurate comparison.

I have aquired more than a lot of people in this community But in the end it's just pixels Will I let it run my life no... There is a big difference between Fg and Money, Money is real fg is not Having 100k fg isn't going to make me any more successful in real life... but then again I am on here Because i enjoy this site The game it's self is simple and boring but what really makes it worth while is chilling with my friends on vent. I like your quote but in the end I really dont care what people think of me Especially online...

I'm not saying that it runs my life, nor should it.

I'm saying that someone in real life, who has 2 maxed out credit cards, rents a 1 bedroom apartment, and can only afford ravioli probably will make poor "financial decisions" on jsp as well. If your mindset is spend spend spend in real life, its probably close to that way on jsp.

I like business in real life, I'm 20 years old, own my own business and have started on number 2. that mind set plays a role in how I interact on jsp. If I were to start a guild it would not be so much for freind ship, as much as a vehicle to allow me to get more fg.

I think its hard to gain fg from having a guild and thats why I have not done this. Maybe you can and I just havnt figured out how yet :)

Thats all Im saying, not thta jsp should control your life, but that it mirrors how you live your real life.
