Thats like me dumping money into your bank account and saying its for your savings only. you wont know its there. As of right now, we all know where items can be found and it is under no category and you let the user sort his own mess. works well.

If you have put all your items into a category... doesn't this mean that all you need to look for is: "No Category"?
Then you know what has been transferred?

NO from me -- I do NOT want new items sent into my well-organized compartments.

Let them all come into the general ''no Category'' bucket, and I will sort them out and put them where I want them
