JUST TESTED - Indeed it is the case - it took 12 hits on my pally for him to get the boot. Thanks for the info Plasmic! updating post.

yes, i found out the hard way with my ninja.

Power went out. had 1.6k life at level 39.. 160 is not a common hit at level 39..

so after i deleted the char, i tested it out on a level 1 char. shortest d/c was 12 hits.. longest was 14.

Although I'll be brave down to about 1/3 life, but that's with a vita barb. I'd say never go below 1k with good armor/max life, 75% with mage or non-feeder (excluding sammy/paladin).

Thats why I recommend an absolute minimum of 60 VITA and 70 DEX on any char, especially those using robes even with insane gear.

I have 39 HC MQs to my name and since the very beginning of HC, I have yet to have 1 RIP (and yes, I've lagged out more times than I can count but because I will not go below 50% life unless the mob is almost dead and my 60-65 VITA, I can withstand 12 hits).

The most I've ever been hit for in a critical on over 150k kills is 900 dmg due to my DEX being always high. 70-130.

Rules, if followed will save your life time and time again.
