yeah i have no clue what guilds are paying or not, but here's a topic to PP buying at least
https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=106129743&f=273

30fg / point

So that means if u play a feeder and pass you get 60fg (2gp)
If you keep playing the Sammy and pass it is 150fg (5gp)
and the value for each class pass goes up higher and higher, but u also get more doors, so maybe if u dont care much for profgain etc in the beginning it's a good choice of just playing feeder classes up to sammy earning points easier.

Interesting! I'll probably try selling my points when I get there eventually. It will probably take me some time to hit whatever level the mq takes place at but that wounds like good supplemental income :)

When your barb hits lvl 71, you will notice an extra building in town.
Add two more level with each higher class.

Re-Roll: Only point to re-roll as stated by one other person ... "if it is too hard to get to Master Quest." I will add on to this, basically if you can get to level 35 easily enough (say in 2 hours [example]) and getting to like level 45 in 2 hours [example], then you are better off to re-roll. If you have the patience to continue on, that is up to you. I used to re-roll often, but that was for prof hunting, and I would NOT suggest you follow suit.

As for selling Guild Points. Go for it, also, as a suggestion, create the maximum amount of characters on that core and climb each one until they unlock Samurai. With a feeder class you have a 50% chance to pass, which goes for FG gain. If you climb Samurai to Master Quest, you have a 33% chance to pass and to get to MQ is another 2 levels (longer)... Note: this is on the conjecture that you are solo'ing. If you are in groups, go for gold.

When you re-reroll because the enemies take too long to kill, you are basically just praying that you will find some item upgrades the next time through right?

I'm level 26 at the moment and already starting to stall out even with what I believe is somewhat decent gear. Obviously not good gear, but I was hoping it would be good enough to last me somewhat longer :wallbash:

Your first paragraph I concur. For me those days I did not have gear, so it was a bonus to upgrade gear as well as sell off items.

I looked at your gear, it should be easy slogging for you on SC? What abilities did you take? Hopefully Retribution and Knockdown (being Barb abilities) or did you just go Retribution + Powerstrike? still works. Are you using /set Easy Mode 0 (deactivated) or 1? /set easy mode 1 means that you will get only 1-2 normal & 1 EP to spawn per square, /set easy mode 0 means you will get 1-3 normal & 1-3 EP to spawn on a square.

Slogging is a great way to describe it! I can make it about 30-40% of the way tit he next level before I run out of gear to shrine and have to wait in town.

The only ability I have is knockdown with 100% of my points going into it. Should I invest in multiple skills?

Ahh, diminishing returns using 1 ability.
Currently you are level 30, and if you have put in every ability point into Knockdown from level 1, this is what your % chance rate would be: 72% right? (EDIT: 77%) Charges based on attacking with your weapon.

This link tells you about abilities: https://ladderslasher.d2jsp.org/index.php?g=20

Yes invest in another one... personally I would have started with Retridution that charges based on being hit (not that useful with EE armor, but stat armor is great) ... say up to 58% (hit by level 15) and then another 3 ability points into Knockdown = 36% to Knockdown by level 30 where you are currently.

This would have made it quicker, Retribution deals mass damage vs 1 monster... the same goes with Powerstrike (Fighter Ability) that you could also use at a lower charge rate.... check the link for more information.

EDIT: the info at the bottom of the link... Grey (unlocked character) also refers to Feeder class abilities other than your own feeder... i.e. you are a barbarian, however you can use Fighter ability at a % Rate listed as "Unlocked"

On another note that may come to question: +X Vita & Int items worn... you will not gain any +Hit Points or Mana Points. Only Hard points apply. ... reason I brought this to your attention, is simply because some (very few) would make an OFF-CASTER Barb, Samurai etc using +Int Gear even though their base intelligence is low... this is very taxing to funds to find the right gear to setup. Fun to play with, but hmm ... so more feasible is hybrid Melee / Heal when solo'ing... still better to use Caster builds like Mage & Warlock... Paladin is decent. Monk & Ninja... been awhile since I tried those ones.

Great advice! I’ve now put a point into retribution and will start to level it as well.

I’m starting to stall out pretty hard around level 34 with my level 20 weapon. Do you think it makes more sense for me to reroll back to 1, or continue slogging through and resting in town?

Never reroll. You just need to get a new weapon. Ideally every 5 levels but you could do every 10 if you’re on a budget. I’ll look through my weapons and see if I have anything that would work for you. Your weapon is most important. You could get to level 71 with a shit armor and charm as long as the weapon has some EE on it. Granted, you’ll need to regen a lot but you’re gonna have to regen regardless.

I have both of these I’ll give you (I can put them each on the MP for 1 fg).
I may even have some other stuff. I’ll keep looking.
