How fast the climb goes if u have really good gear (im actually only 1 drop away from buying very good items)

Like u have 150 master quests done so i quess it doesnt take days for u

Depending on time put in.

I do a hour or two a day and get around 25-30 levels per.
Depends what I put in for time. Or what event is active. (Exp boost for examplr)
Sometimes I whistle with s group and it takes 1 hour cuz no boss mobs.

Is there big diffrence for example to play with ~120ee gear instead of ~80ee gear?

I play mostly solo for now and it takes me like 3days to master quest with quite much screen time

i usually break my climbs up into 2 parts, the 1-55 and 55-mq.

on hardcore i irregularly use a 14x ee level 45 polearm all the way to level 71. i usually expect this to take ~5 hours. However i usually use only 1 piece of ML gear and i'm lucky enough to have found a 160+ ee 39 dex chain which makes level 60-71 a breeze.
on softcore i use a bit more magic luck and use ~3rd best club set i'm aware of.

For 1-35 i'll just whistle because the drops don't matter, yes a 160ee level 25 item could drop but a 200ee level 35 could drop at level 35+ and seeing my gear can slaughter everything anyway, i might as well go with higher level mobs, although 35 is generally a good time for me to start on softcore.
1-35 will be ~2 mins per level, so about 70 minutes. This is just whistling.
35-55 is slightly harder and exploring with at least 1 magic luck item. so about 5 mins per level, which is close to 2 hours.
55+ i would be using 10+ ML armor/charm and a 250ee club and be exploring again, again probably in the region of 5 mins per level. main reason it's that high is i get distracted and look at other stuff.

So about 5 hours of play time both cores to be honest, i "could" cut this down to about 3 hours if i whistled the entire way, but if i intended to do things fast, then i'd try and get 4-5 man group climbs going where these take ~50-70 mins to go level 1-85 depending on the gear of the group

So whistle = easier but worse drops?

I have been exploring the maze all the time. Should i keep doing that cuz i need drops aswell to improve my gear or go whistle only?

Also do you recommend me to get ml gear on charm slot or go for extra dmg with strength charm since i already have hard time going from 55+?

sry for many maybe stupid questions

Sorry if this was said already but I didn't really read everything :P

You can think about the difference being pretty small between the effectiveness of any individual piece of gear, but overall there's a cumulative effect and that's different depending on if we're talking about melee vs caster, hard mobs vs weak mobs, and even ability to play certain abilities or playstyles.

Whereas the difference between 80 ee and 120 ee on a single piece of gear is only about a 22% increase, when you consider that weapon or charm is 22% more effective at dealing damage (and thus removing monsters from dealing damage to you in fewer hits), armor is 22% more effective at reducing damage (often more since defense is subtracted from damage in LS), and heal is 22% more effective at restoring life (which may also be the difference between losing hp and gaining hp overall), that effect can be significant.

For casters, increased damage can be translated into mana cost savings and also potentially ability to reach next level and therefore restore mana completely rather than needing to go back to town to regen. Likewise, healing for casters translates into mana cost savings and potentially ability to make progress at all against hard monsters.

And that's ignoring stat charms, stat sticks/armors etc, since those are str/dex/int based rather than ee :P These factored in will make a big difference in their own right.

I could on go on, but this is getting long and you get the idea :) I hope

all pretty legitimate questions.

whistle is generally considered to be worse drops, seen a few bits and pieces drop but per time committed the drop rate is significantly worse.

Whether you should whistle the first x amount of levels is upto you, i would always recommend you do the first object "explore the maze" at level 1, getting it later is very annoying. I do this every time and bonus storage room is super nice in solo.
I would personally recommend whistling to level 20, usually not a lot drops at level 1-20 and anything which could drop at those levels can also drop at level 20+. Whether you go further than that is upto you.

Personally i'd recommend damage for the charm debate, making things harder when things already feel hard doesnt sound like the way to go to me.

I'd recommend ML for the early-mid levels if you explore them since mobs are way easier, overspawn gear at those levels is not super uncommon if you always wear ML, there is good demand for them, and ML gear is cheaper at those levels than at endgame levels.

If killing mobs with normal gear feels hard already, then... it pains me to say it... but just don't wear ML. But don't quote me :P

The difference between bad or low gear and superb gear is extremely noticeable and feels good to play with.

Basically like d2 in a sense using a full enigma hdin oppose to using a self found shit din. 🤣
Goodluck with your climbs and keep up the good work friendo.

Sounds good. I probably start trying some ml gear once i reach the point i actually have "decent" gear and every monster doesnt feel like boss mob

Yea, i think i cant go for ml gear just yet

Probably never getting to full enigma hdin point but i hope some point i have "enigma + hoto" combo to make it little bit more doable
