@ Fuzz ... what? "most people... blah, blah..." want if for "Transmuting"... for fuck sake, talk about a single minded objective versus the rest of the game mechanics to be fixed... "Transmuting" is the "bomb... fudgety... dot... fudging COM" ... really, you want this for Muters that have the best mechanics in LS without Paul knowing the function... it is just like the old days where you would wear +X% Damage return to kill off monsters and get exceptional drops that was nerfed... all Muters are just like that, and you want MORE to exploit a simple game... really??.

@ barteq88 ... who the fuck gives a fuck about a Toggle that can be manipulated by those that don't use it. Toggle in this scenario means that YOU benefit, not the rest of the community... want to argue with semantics, simple simon state, run in a group that I create and you will realize your suggestion is flawed dramatically when you have to climb based on my speed and NOT yours... Note: I have done countless group climbs and I am the ONLY driver, they have to play at my Internet speed etc.

toggle means that things can be like they used to be, no change for you by default, so you gucci and if someone wants to have it his way, he can check the box or something LOL

Toggle, it means you create game and have it set to YOU being the only driver right? That is good if you do not get disconnected, but it is bad if you do get disconnected by way of a person knocking down a Power Pole in your area taking out your power, or you haven't paid your bills and get your power cut off... the rest of the players are waiting there for you to return to game.... doh, you can't, so they have to leave game and make another one.

It is simple ... we don't know if the driver pays their bills on time or if a random car accident happens in their area or a storm takes out their power. It can not be controlled, so, just ask the other people in the group to ensure to pass the lead back using /leader (character name)

This is what I always did when driving in group runs ... I hate others driving catacombs.

So once again, there isn't a need for this. But I can say this, it will most likely be done because I protest about it.

Who told you that group is meant to play without me (or some other set driver)? Among other reasons... it's for the case where 1 person carries the whole group that is afk or the case where there is at least 1 person that is afk and randomly gets driver cuz the main one disconnected 1006 for few seconds

Nevertheless I wanted this fix for the reasons you didn't think about at first. Hopefully you still think it's not needed and keep protesting about it, so who knows, maybe it gets fixed thanks to that!!

IIRC, 1006 DCs are server side/JSP issues not individual internet issues. Which negates most of rex's argument as usual.

All good, there are things that I used during my time Carrying people to MQ... /kick (character name) as soon as I rejoined the group while they are still afk in the catacomb where I would heal them while /kick them.

There are ways around this... now if you think about it... the game mechanics have changed dramatically where "in-actions" kick them to town during the time you have had a 1006 disconnect, so, they are still inactive and can NOT pass you the lead, so then you have to PM them on JSP to inform them of what has happened, you can still carry on and solo until you receive a PM back from them notifying you they are back online... now with the updates, you can create a group that can have their character join because you can adjust the Character Level NOW... this was never an option when I was carrying Vicki to Master Quest... we had to be within 5 levels of each other or use a Bridging system. SO ... this is NOT needed, you currently have better options than before... so what you get a 1006 disconnect and they are AFK ... when they aren't, you can carry on with ease and NO bridging system etc.

Again... there is NO point for this... however, maybe they can create a NEW command ... when people are inactive for 60 seconds or more, the lead is passed over to the ACTIVE player... this means you will have to halt the run for 60 seconds while you remain active by entering & exiting the catacomb within that time... no need for Toggle or Default.



EDIT: don't they have a new command to /town character name or something or another??? Instead of /kick the person from the group???
