That's awfully kind of you! I may take you up on this once I start my HC journey. I wouldn't want to accept any items that will just "sit" for now.

quick question:

I see some nice gear for trade in the forums, how to people go about trading items when they're worth ~20kfg? Market place takes a hefty fee. Are you guys really paying that tax to ensure a safe transaction?

Some players have friends or dedicated transfers players in their guilds. that can join the guild to transfer items but their are players that use the market to do big trades if it's single items.

It helps if you actually slash or trade.. you left that out

I believe we just discussed in discord how to go about larger trades or multi item trades . If not i can copy n paste what was said if you need. The info should be there

Sometimes the item fee you can just ask for upfront. You just have to agree on it. They send the fg so you can afford to put on MP at agreed rate. When I trade, I go by how trustworthy they seem.. and if anything is in question... im either prepared to eat item fees so the trade goes smooth. Or you make sure you factor it into your bin if concerned.

Communication is key.
I just sold a robe set at 1fg a piece the other day
And had him send me the total after (like 8k or something)

Met him in game, and just drag and dropped the item. Said "ready?"

He replied "g"
You put up and say "up" and wait to assure they got it.
Even then i was nervous it would go well.. so you have to be prepared for that. It made it easy knowing the other party was on their game with the marketplace and communication.

But it's sketchy asf so I don't suggest doing it with items you care about. And make sure the other person is most certainly good for it the best you can.

Honestly for how you want to play, it may be though.
Lots of good people but it's dying and they are just fighting to keep it alive. Riding a dinosaur IMO xD but I speak from pure ignorance right there haha

I think Chip has done well on his return to HC and Transmuting to get into the top 10.
