I'd +1 anything to help farming during the early levels of a climb now. Don't think any of the ideas really relate but yeah.

Also could make objectives easier/more frequent during early climbs...I never even see sneaky (not that I can kill him) before 55+ and it's supposedly lvl 15+. Never seen half the objectives at all.

I think I have not made #4 clear... These are NOT Objectives like what we have now.

Area: This is like entering Catacombs... but you have to beat that Boss within... or the "Lake of Devastation" is like the Pond ... you can just fish there.

Or:

Maze: Either Solo or Group, you enter like Catacombs, you have to survive to get to the Boss by killing off waves of monsters while traversing the Maze... however, this Maze doesn't have a set map boundary... so you may cross over to another area of the the mini map. (hard to explain this sorry).

These are NOT objectives, however harder catacombs and the maze length or height is misleading.

Or the Areas can be unlocked based on your level in Town, like the MQ Tower, however, you enter that area and you still have to go through the maze to get to the Boss. Maybe the rewards are different... drops, stats, ability points etc. EDIT: maybe a horde of Totems drop etc. A treasure trove of Heavy Weapons (1 per person in the group)

Yes.

After re-reading what I wrote, I came to realize that those new Areas or Mazes have a Specific Item drop... just like clearing a Catacomb and you will always get a Map at the end, or Treasure Chest when completing a Map.

Now how about a Totem (one of the rarest items to find) + other drops ... say 1 per person in a Group, and now that fixes to the Map drop was introduced, they already have a safe guard against it.

I am not sure if you know about Totems... I have never found one in the decade+ playing this game, and this is pretty much the same for other older school players... so, maybe that could help out for one of the areas I mentioned... say Ogre?

Hey, you can add in other things like "Titans Hall or Banquet" and you are guaranteed a Heavy weapon drop + other drops

"Medusas Lair" and so forth.

I find it ironic that every suggestion you and bob made have been ignored and instead the “update” jist nerfs the game more until I guess we all get bored of it and no one decides to play anymore?

I like 3. 1 and 2 seem rough. As people have said life steal isn't great so assumedly mana steal would be not great too.
