At first i was thinking heck no as this would cause new ppl with mediocre gear to rage quit but then it moght cause them to create more threads requesting assistance from those of us who solo to look for the ep’s but then more ep’s mean more muteables in the market which would drop prices and make it more difficult for newer players to buy better gear

/set max 1 just enables maximum monster spawn to the number of players in the group ... i.e. If solo, you only encounter a minimum of 3 monsters per encounter, or with 3 people in the group, you encounter 7 monsters (maximum) each encounter.

/set max 0 just disables the maximum monster spawn back to random 1-X (maximum monster spawn for how many are in the group)



I thought about that, it would have been great for certain objectives, and for those that have the gear to deal with like 5 max while solo'ing ... this would be decent, as long as the build uses more actions to heal ...



And yup, that is devilish, but I can see why you would love that option solo'ing... Oh, the counter to this is reduced chances of EPs to spawn in normal catacombs, and thus people would be hunting maps more often, and then the counter would be to reduce the 20 or 25 maximum EPs you can find a maps.

Hmm, never seen a map with more than +25 EPs on it.

If you press ctrl+shift+W it makes way more sense. Trust me.

Well, if you knew the mechanics more, you would realise that it is based on /set easy 1 and /set easy 0 ... however, you use /set max 1 (to maximum monster spawn wave per tile you explore or whistle) and /set max 0 to disable it.

So thanks for the bump and your knowledge about the game and how you read simple things but are still wrong.
