Price guides are not very reliable. Too much Flux in the market with the faster transmute and recent proficiency giveaway.

Yeah there's definitely some Flux with the supply and demand. The increase should pull more slashers into the game. I sure hope it does.

If we could only advertise to these D2R and D4 nerds.
Edit: changed my sig to advertise. We all need to do this really big. Our Game would get some more followers with the right influence.

I think the problem getting new people to stay is how hard the game is as a beginner without sinking a bunch of fg into the game or getting loaner items from guilds/friends.

Some of stayed and done really well. I remember coming from nothing to beast mode.

Maybe a poor analogy but, not everyone who plays football makes it into the NFL. Sure is better than farming D2R high runes

Yeah, but most people that are playing D2R for profit aren’t actually playing. Unless you’re Rex, playing this game starting with nothing is not fun and you will burn out quickly. I have decent enough gear to solo MQ (though it’s not great), and I have to take breaks from playing because it gets so monotonous.

That being said, I do wish more people played LS. :D

I haven’t been playing much lately, but I’ve noticed that muteables are selling for a decent amount more than they typically do — maybe for a week or so now.

I’m not complaining by any means, just wondering if anyone has any idea why the market for muteables jumped. It’s usually pretty steady +/- 2fg per muteable.

I think part of the reason (not only faster muting events) is more muters hitting profs to create a demand for items.

Secondly, like supply and demand the sellers recognized how much profit the essences were going for and realigned the values to be a bit fairer.

Like all things must, these prices with go up and down with game activity and users/muters.

Thank you for noticing. A few things i need to add is that LS was a lot easier for newer players. First off numerous guilds were paying 50-100 fg per guild point. Also, most people were doing group whistles. This was great for guild points but horrible for drops. You had roughly 1 in 5 chance of getting whatever dropped. I also learned to play the market. Prices were typically much lower on the weekend and became higher on weekdays. Also holiday tend to drop prices even lower.

 You are correct, I guess I am a bit sadistic (think that is the word for punishing myself) to keep on playing Ladder Slasher with crap to mediocre gear after losing some great items in the past. :D

EDIT: dang, wrong thread, sorry.
