How op is int btw that it makes dmg and heal charms stronger, gives mana, increases crit chance and magical defense, made huge error not going caster. Btw does warlock equate to a melee class that has 150 combined starting str and dex since int is 1/1 ratio whereas melee weapons 1 str and 1 dex is needed for 1

So, melee has a hidden double bonus every 4 times it increases damage.
So let's suggest you went from 105 to 110 int with a charm compared to 105 to 110 str with a club, which increased in damage more?
The club does as it received 6-7 damage boosts from 5 stats.
The charm only received 5.
So yes 1 str and dex is needed for weapons to match charms, but clubs as an example can go pure strength seeing dex does nearly nothing for clubs.
Also, how useful is having a load of magic defense anyway?
Yes warlock is by far the most obscene class in the game, but it isn't quite as overkill as you make it
I agree in a sense with both of you, the caster is over powered in comparison to a melee character (excluding an Alchemist).
You maybe confused with my previous sentence, so let me add in one item that is Super Sexy for a Mage, Rogue, Monk & Warlock. A staff with High Enhanced Effect (120%+) and 30+ Intelligence.
You are both thinking... "wtf is this guy on?" ... well it is simple, the Base Dexterity of the classes I stated are high, and the EE from the staff means if your mana pool is low, you can still deal physical damage (comes in handy for those monster types that can not be hurt by cast charms) which doesn't deplete your mana pool before shrining or regen. Hence the reason I kept the Alchemist out of the equation since they can not use any weapons.
The actual answer to band aid casters being Over Powered is simple. Go back to the old times when the Mana Cost of charms were higher than they are now. Increase the Mana Cost when casting. Neither of you played Ladder Slasher when the Mana Cost was basically double the amount and people bitched and moaned about this before a ton of the updates we have now (basically v1.15) and it got reduced. Now is the time to change it back, double the Mana Cost for cast and healing charms.
I hear the hate flowing from readers and the "die Rex, die"
