Pretty much.
Which was disheartening for soloers.

My friends and I used to have chain competitions.
But they eliminated arena.
Pvp as well

What I find silly is they brought in whistling after.
So I can't just summon monster solo anymore?
I gotta explore or whistle..
Idk about you guys, but as a mainly solo player I never whistle.

But whistling is amazing for min-maxing LS!

It minimizes nice drops while maximizing mob kill count, prof, and MQs

Since you have gotten to the highest level I've ever seen someone get .



How many levels were gained whistling?
Or were you just trying to play the game. And finding EPs?
It seems the game is trying to push everyone to play together.
But even with chain counter it wasn't fast to solo
Personally I hate having to explore maps to hunt EPs. But it's the most efficient

0 levels gained whistling. I explored the whole way with 7+ ML and even fought EPs on the last few levels. I did have to leave 3-spawn EP encounters though, and died several times trying to kill 2-spawn EPs
I routinely used to solo through lvl 101 into the low 110s and one season took a magician to lvl 143 when I first started playing just to see if those higher level mobs dropped anything special... they didn't but it was fun.

Yea I seem to trouble random 3 wave eps higher level so I was curious. As u can see by my profs and chars death count idgaf. But I've solod a 101 once and I hated it. Whistled the last 2 lvls

Yup, drop quality drops at higher levels ... I would say just after level 69, I am bias because that was the level I was when I found most of my best ever finds (well high tier that is.)




"maximizing mob kill count" - I would re-word it to "True Monster Kills when solo'ing" and "False Monster Kills when in a group.

This is based on only two occasions when I checked Group play and Monster kills. If another person in the group kills a monster, you will also get that "Monster Kill" added. It has been over a decade since I noticed this, but I still think it is still active. So when I see people bragging about their "Monster Kill" numbers, it isn't impressive at all when you play in full groups.

I won't go into prof.

I have noticed that "whistling" is ONLY useful when sitting at a Well when you run out of Whites (solo'ing and not asking for a person to hold the Well) and hunt for Whites to throw into it until it Breaks. (this is in extreme instances.)
