Yep totally didn’t have a 220ee charm glitch shrined on cellphone. Definitely works as intended!

Since the addition of a square on which an item must be applied to shrined it, accidental destruction of an item is almost a miracle. Unless someone is not full of mental faculties.

Interesting points, however there are circumstances that can not be accounted for:

The server gets an interruption by a Natural cause that causes a delay between the Server and User connection ... say Storm etc? maybe it is vice versa, where the Storm is in the vicinity of the player and the transfer hasn't completed for a brief second?

Now, include the device (PC/Phone) capabilities with the capacities of the "Receiver" and the "Sender"! Then you take in the portal(s) transmitting the information packets over the distance ... thus... the delay in transmission ends up with a disaster unless the player accounts for those things to survive.

Accidental shrining an item can be contributed to packet transfer from the Server to the receiver and back to the Server because of other factors... it has happened in 2010 and still can happen in 2023 even with the technology that is available.

Note: I have been using a 1 gb RAM pc for the last what, 12 years, I have accustomed myself to not repeating the Deaths I encured during that time and changed my play-style to what I can use. But remember... a disconnection at the WRONG time is the miracle of YOUR own death of a character when you only see one(1) play-style and don't bother to counteract what could happen... happy deaths ya'all.

EDIT: above paragraph also includes Shrining

What does what you wrote have to do with accidentally shrined an item?

Packet transfer between "Server / Player location" and the "portals" in between that may or not be effected by natural occurrences like "weather" and maybe an accident with a "power source" interrupting connection(s) within the area of the Server, Player or the portals used (I am from NZ, one portal is ChCh in NZ, the next could be either of two portals in Aussie, and one of those portals have a storm that interrupts transmission or someone had an accident with a power-pole providing a connection to their portal and it interrupts the transmission of packets (information of what transpired in the game from the server to the player) and thus the delay causes you to click on an item that your PC / Mobile connection registered it as a shrine on YOUR end, but, previously, you(r) action roamed over the great item and only the server recognised that as your last action to click on the shrine... it is called "lost packet(s)"

In this case, it won't matter if you're a PC or mobile play. This is a random event independent of the player.

And we are talking about accidental destruction by the player.

Are we? This was your original post:

How is it "someone is not full of mental faculties" if they are unaware of any Natural interruptions between the Server(s) and their own Portal?

Can you predict a car crash that takes down your power during the time you were viewing an item that you WANT to shrine in the millisecond that your cursor perused over an item you did NOT want to be shrined and during the shrining period between the server and your action(s) to shrine during the time of an interruption of packet transfer you shrine the better item compared to the item you wanted to shrine.

Hey... it only takes a millisecond interruption to make a click, however, it is just like when you sit in the dark and someone shines a torch in your eyes and you can not react until the blindness is cleared.

Since the update or before the update?

Didn't realize there was a update to it, but even if there was I promised myself I would never log into the game via phone ever again. Some scars run too deep.

I actually had this happen to a 53dex charm.
Before they idiot proofed it.
(The shrine)
I juggled my phone for 1 second and lost one of my best items. 🤦‍♂️

Still haven't replaced it. It's been almost 2 years...

But ls from phone is basically how I play exclusively lately cuz life
But I don't expect to play in groups.
Mobile is a horse of a different color

I also didn't make my original post to be mean.
But the amount of multis and people trying to bot, get caught, making new accounts and coming back is unprecedented.
And mount olympus doesn't care who you are or what you do.
I do.
It's warded me from helping people like this cuz it creates turmoil for me more than it helps the community.

I pay per gp. I don't advertise it.
I prefer people now to have a great understanding of the game and willingness to play it before I help now.

Dude has like 2 posts and no chars.

Explore the game. Read some guides..
Same as any other game

But hearing about LS from reddit... I highly doubt that lol

I’ve been playing pretty exclusively on phone for a while. It is possible, and it’s not too hateful. Sure pc is better. But my pc isn’t in my bed, or on my couch.

When you go into the catacombs you can navigate with the arrow buttons on the screen. Tap on mobs to kill. Press the engage arrow when mobs are dead (top left, under your character)
Rinse repeat.

At lvl 1 use tier III gear.
Weapons get enhanced effect.
Armors at low level use dex or str mod. At mid and higher levels use enhanced effect.
Charm use dex / str

youre not the leader, only the leader can move.

And at the end of each wave of mobs when you are the leader. first hit the engage button then move with the arrows
