Excellent advice, I will test some of those out, also, my Wireless Adaptor is a "USB plug in", not a card... that is how old my PC and Adaptor is.
I do use chrome, but still using Windows 7 Home, which has never been updated since 2011 and only use 1 GB RAM, and as you know, Win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft.
Again, thanks... I will test these out later on.
Might be time for a computer upgrade? that pc by the way you descibe it is about 15 years out of date. also.. usb wifi adapters are a temporary solution only, they should never be used for extended periods of time. also.. windows 7 has not had security updates in almost a decade, you are literally playing with fire for a hacker to take over your system if you use it online daily.
now... if you have a budget in mind for a new build, i could assist you in finding something more up to date and would exceed all requirements of any other game you wished to try or play. id suggest windows 10 over windows 11, however support for windows 10 is ending in approximately a year.. the new pc would be suitable to upgrade to windows 11 should you want to when the time would come.
average standard now is 8-16gb of ram, id suggest a ryzen 5 cpu over intel ( my personal preference, as hackers have figured out a vulerability in intel cpu's).
overall it would be a difference of night and day, to bring you out of the stone age. (old hammer and chisel vs a hydro-jet to carve a stone wheel :P)
shoot me a pm if you need any help with an upgrade, i helped Juston a few months back, havent heard anything bad about the build i helped them with.

if you want the simplicity of a pre-built system, on amazon au, the cheapest i could source that is ryzen based is a 3rd gen cpu. and about $1400.

if you are computer savvy enough to construct a system on your own, i could also help source parts for you to build the system on your own.
