I did not forget axes, they're just not a weapon you should be aiming to use as a beginner,



these are the projected damage outputs, presuming plag is able to swap a 30 str charm for a 30 dex charm for the dagger option
can see axes are still lowest and are only slightly offset from their higher crit ratio

i started with axes cuz thats what i had, didnt give it much thought tbh
just started this rouge to check out when t4 glyphs drop and all of a sudden i am close to 40
when i start with my main i will ofc min/max the stats for my weapons
not a noob just starting over

just fyi for the future, axes do not care on what ratio you have, can have 100 strength 40 dex, 70 strength and 70 dex or 40 strength 100 dex.
All of these do the same amount of damage.

So personally i would always stat dex on a rogue unless i had a club/sword set but specifically wanted the rogues ability to see trapdoors.
This would allow you to mainly make best use of its high dex stat without any drawback for having to use axes if necessary, rather than statting strength and being told axes are your best option due to that choice.



but as i said, i think you'll struggle a little with that mq on that character, reverting to your main may actually be faster due to level 55-71 taking usually about as long as 1-55, especially given your 23 dagger prof i can imagine it turning out faster, as well as leaving you with a high level mule which is handy for higher level ees items

I took a look at your mule, I noticed you are wearing a Staff with a Str charm, if you have a Dex charm (20ish +), switch them around to see how much your damage will increase in comparison, you may get a shock, or you can use Bigheadeds Damage Calculator.

Also, I noticed your last reply to Bigheaded, you started with axes because you had them available, so you could still have put your points into Dexterity for your Staff or Dagger at higher levels.

Just my opinion, I am gathering you have some dex gear available.

a str charm was all i had lying around

Okay... looked at your character now level 45, noticed a Tier III heal charm in ACC slot with EE... not bad if you were level 1-20 instead of 45 ... so you may find a cheap higher Tier healing charm for like 1-5 fg on MP ... let me see;

Magical focused heal XII, Heals: 171 to 205, +90% Enhanced Effect ... this is on MP @ 20fg (SC).

Now you start off with 25 intelligence, just add 5 for a Base of 30 to give you more mana, which will be more than sufficient for your character to make runs easier from 45 to MQ.

The cheapest Dex charm on MP currently:

Magical wild heal X, Heals: 15 to 153, +34 Dexterity @ 115 fg

This is a wild heal and usable by all classes, this maybe worthwhile to purchase ASAP.

EDIT: and yup, I got off HC and checked SC MP to find out the cheapest items available.
