I was given some flack by a guildmate in my attempt to help a newer player in the community who unfortunately shrined his level 55 182ee sword. My guildmate says I was a jerk for not letting him know proactively and preventing him from shrining his prized MQ sword. So heres my attempt at making things right, maybe a mod can sticky this post for the new players.

Incoming suggestion needs to be implemented btw.


Pay to put a lock on your gear! 100 fg per item and you can put a lock on the gear so it's unshrinable

who seriously doesnt look at what they shrine? like really??? way to go.. now start hunting for a new mq item cause its gone forever.. due to self ignorance.. theres a 2 tier step to prevent shrining any item.. its not just drop and go anymore.. due to people compalining about it...

I agree with this guy, they implemented a button and alot just click past it anyways

It's not all in vain!

Get an unspawn and you'll get 1 point on the bingo board for all non guild jspers!!!

With the old shrine I have shrined quite a few nice low level casting items lol (11int/330 mana lvl 0 sword, 10int/250mana lvl 0 robe etc.) Mostly because I was going too fast and I shrine low level items. But who shrines a level 55 item in the first place? It really sucks, and I am not a fan of the new shrine, wish we would just lock your items, but you do need to be careful :(

come to hc.. its unforgiving.. you die you loose your char, gear, prof.. everything on that char.. the ultimate goal on hc is to not die.. gives that extra challenge most on sc dont get..

i shrined a 53 dex charm and a 150ee Heal before it was idiot proofed

Ur an ass for that..lol jk idk why anyone thought that of u, or why u would even need to defend urself ant, ur a good guy of the community and never do no harm in my book
