So I was thinking it would be really nice when you find a Well it would have a Visible Durability on it

Like when you find a Well you will see it has 1 out of 1 would be unlucky but.. ( So you can only well one item and the well will brake. )
some would have more ofc 12 out of 12 so it would drop 1 after each item tossed in.

11 out of 12
10 out of 12 so on, Not my place to say how many I'm sure it is random.


For people who need to see an example.




So if you toss 1 item into it then it will disappear.
Would be a QoL Update only no real effect on the game imo.

Just thought I would put it out there. Let's hear what you all have to say about it?

hmmm, people might start charging for upper item wells. Possibly insane prices?

It would be helpful of course. :)

I have another idea btw.
You can run into 2 different type of wells:
1, a normal one - like now
2, a super well, it would look different (like different color or design). If you run into a super well you can get some extra bonuses (+ item quality, + maximum base quality, etc) and usually stays longer. But still random longevity and so rare.
And mobs would be harder.
It could spawn only in x TD down or under.
Etc. xD

I like all except the td part only because rogues (on cell phones anyway) would never be able to find them since they don’t get to use td’s.

Also, would like to get rid of the lvl restrictions in drop quality. Basically, if I decide to throw a lvl 3 item into the well while I am lvl 55 (for example) it should have the same drop quality if I were to do this at level 3. In fact, the monster should be based on my level and not the item level like it is currently.

I also wouldn’t mind if all wells were more difficult to find if the drop quality was increased.

I like this idea, having a durability counter, and the few other ideas also mentioned.

I think it would also help some regulate fees for well maps instead of buying a map that has one well on it vs 50fg (seems the standard rate currently) and it being a one and done..

ive also had an idea of adding shadows of mobs or possibly a well in the surrounding visible map. it wouldnt show wether they are EP or regular mobs, but just show that there is something there. same idea would apply to trap doors if on rogue, or monk, (classes that can detect and avoid falling through them).


LS is pretty simple, there has been some great adds over the years, and some great things taken away (pvp arena, well in town etc.) i think its time that some upgrades are done ;)

While I can see how this would be a lovely idea, I feel like there needs to be a certain randomization to the game that needs to leave the player in the dark. I compare it to the raffle, you can only hope you hit the jackpot. If it disappears quickly, you feel a dissatisfaction and after you get passed that you find yourself desiring more of it for the chance of something more; so you find yourself hunting more wells. Like gambling :)

Edit: It would be a nice change if when you found an emblem if instead of it giving you a glyph all the time if sometimes it turned into a well or EPs or something like that. That would be fun.

I’d rather start with well visibility :D
Being able to see a well from x spaces away in catacombs.

You can see walls up to like 3-4 spaces away, why not wells?

E: Same goes for emblems.

something like this would actually be pretty cool, or even if it didnt show text but something like the color of the well fades out gets lighter as a sign you know its breaking soon but wouldnt be 100% on when its going to poof
