use the rod closest to your fishing level, but can round up so lvl 23 can use a lvl 25 rod.

There is some information about it... check the portals a bit more, hopefully they have been updated, personally I have no clue, but the advice given can help you during your Fishing skills currently.

I looked at Silvan (I think is your main character) and Fishing Rank, you have not reached Rank 1 ... so basically just use a TierI rod with any Durability... do NOT spam fish, there is a delay when the counter switches to "SNAG" where you have to click it at that precise time without breaking the rod... again, do NOT spam click fishing... it is easier than you think and better with higher durability rods etc at tier level.

EDIT: I use to Fish, I found it better using the "one Mississippi, Click (if no "Snag" appears) etc" method to fishing to be successful and not break rods.

im just trying to remember what is what.
i accidently deleted when i was lvl4
but iirc the exp sucked when i used a lvl1 rod.
so was looking for some form of details

the fishing chart is at the bottom but its a little misleading. The required level category is the level required to use the fish on yourself to heal or regen mana.

The other chart shows wood per tier.


But like I said, its best to use a rod the closest to your level.

it's basically +10 levels to the normal required level of an item

t1 is 0
t2 is 5
t3 is 10
t4 is 15
t5 is 20
t6 is 25
t7 is 30
t8 is 35
t9 is 40
t10 is 45
t11 is 50
t12 is 55
t13 is 60
t14 is 65

Does cooking get effected by the level of the fish i use?
For example if i use a level 10 fish can i cook it with level0 prof?

hmm I am not exactly sure how the max behaves, since I never got fish above my rank, as my cooking tends to fall behind (due to the ratio of fish that is fished that provides cooking prof)

but it follows a similar pattern
0-4 is t1
4-9 is t2
10-14 is t3

etc.

you can cook above your rank (I am 39 atm with 30 minimum, and I can cook 30 and 35s reasonably well)

at rank 37 and 38 I was able to do 30 and 35s reasonably well, too (that was 25 minimum)

since the skilling change, I now also get good prof below my minimum (still getting decent prof, about 30-60% of 30s) of 25

well here is what i wanted to do honestly. just fish and get high lvl and sell them as they are. i figure people with cooking will do it them selfs
