To make it clearer, this just happened:

I killed a Normal Monster and leveled up from 29 to 30 (last hit) and the Monster dropped a level 30 (Tier IX) White Ice.

I am guessing it has something to do with the Event. I am not using any ML gear at all (which I normally do @ level 25+)

Anyone have the same or similar thing happen in a normal catacomb outside of low level runs? EDIT: excluding map runs.

it actually happens quite alot while whistling when we have the item stat quality% , we said it few weeks ago in some posts that we dont think it has anything to do with the stats rolling higher anymore, except for the magical type + tier of the item.

I've never found a white item the same level when I level up on that kill

Nice to know... so the +2.18% Item Stat Quality Event mod made it possible... guess I was extremely lucky with the final hit from 29 to 30 to get a Tier IX item (could indicate that the +2.18% roll was after leveling up)



Yup... was a first for me that is for certain.

I think that anywhere between lvl 25-30 u should have been able to find the 30 white, because of the 2.xx% chance of adding +1 tier of item.

But yeah, generally it's quite rare to find high level whites no matter, right?

It was changed in the rewrite that you can find higher tier than your level would allow to before the rewrite

If he got this excited over a lvl 30, he probably would wet the whole house if he found a white lvl 55 item......

I will say thank you when it happens @ level 55 getting more 55 white items for welling purposes.



You always miss the basics. If during these +X.xx% Item stat quality events, it is good do know that you can find Tier XIV white items @ level 55 from a NORMAL mob for those on SC that ML hunt (those that kill themselves so they don't level up).
